November of 2023, the Scioto Foundation Boards of Governors awarded the West Portsmouth Youth Sports Complex $10,000 to replace its damaged gym floors. This new floor allows for a safer environment for students to participate in their activities, as well as broadening the type of programs the group can host.
The Scioto Foundation annually awards grants on a quarterly basis in classifications of the arts, education, community development, social services and health. Application deadlines are March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 31.

This Saturday, April 6, the West Portsmouth Youth Sports Complex, they will be hosting a reverse raffle dinner at The Complex starting at 6PM. The winner will receive $10,000.
