The Scioto Foundation Board of Governors awarded Shawnee Mental Health, Inc. $15,000 from the Bertha T. Johnson Fund and the Ed & Helen Fannin Fund for “Providing Housing Stability for Youth Aging Out of Foster Care”. The grant will provide funding to help furnish apartments and a communal area within their new 45-unit apartment complex housing facility nearing completion at Hisle Park. The facility is designed to provide safe, affordable and quality housing for at-risk transitional-age youth in this region. Photos below of one of the units.
