Last summer, the Scioto Foundation Governing Boarded awarded the Portsmouth Area Arts Council $8,000 for partial support of its “2022-2023 Children’s Theatre Series”. PAAC and the Children’s Theatre will present three shows at the Vern Riffe Center for the Arts(VRCFA) during this season including one junior company show, one senior company show and one combined company production.
Below are photos from the dress rehearsal of one of those 3 shows, Oliver Jr. This production is scheduled for Friday, May 5th at 7 PM, Saturday, May 6th at 2:30 PM and 7 PM. Tickets are on sale at the McKinley Box office, located in the VRCFA lobby.
The Scioto Foundation annually awards grants on a quarterly basis in categories of the arts, education, community development, social services and health. Application deadlines are March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 31.
